Walking Rosary

Join us on Monday, May 18, at 6:30 p.m. for a special Walking Rosary held within the beautiful Via Dolorosa in front of the church hosted by the St. Padre Pio Spirituality Ministry. Together, we will gather in prayer with the primary intention of asking God for peace for all nations currently affected by war and conflict throughout the world. As a parish community, we are called to lift our hearts in prayer for healing, unity, and hope for all those suffering from violence and unrest. During this peaceful and prayerful evening, we will pray the Joyful Mysteries while walking around the Via Dolorosa circle, pausing at each decade for reflection and prayer. The walking path is approximately 200 yards in length.
For those who may have difficulty walking, cement benches and padded chairs will be available around the path so everyone can comfortably participate in this spiritual experience. This is a wonderful opportunity to step away from the busyness of daily life and spend time in prayer surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation. Whether you come alone, with family, or with friends, all are invited to share in this meaningful evening of faith and community.
