Divine Mercy Sunday

Please join us for a peaceful and grace-filled afternoon on Divine Mercy Sunday, April 12th. Beginning at 3:00 PM—the Hour of Mercy—we will gather for a special Divine Mercy Celebration featuring Eucharistic Adoration, Confession, and the recitation of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. Please note that all weekend Masses will take place at their regularly scheduled times.
What is Divine Mercy Sunday?
Divine Mercy Sunday is a special feast in the Catholic Church celebrated on the Sunday after Easter, dedicated to the boundless mercy and love of God. Instituted by Saint John Paul II in the year 2000, it is rooted in the revelations of Jesus to Saint Faustina Kowalska, who shared the message of trusting in God’s mercy and extending that mercy to others.
What is Divine Mercy?
Divine Mercy is the infinite love, compassion, and forgiveness that God offers to every person. It is the way God reaches out to us in our weakness, our sins, and our struggles—not with judgment, but with healing and grace. At its heart, Divine Mercy is a message of hope: no matter how far we may feel from God, His mercy is always greater. He invites us to trust in Him, to receive His forgiveness, and to share that same mercy with others through kindness, patience, and love. Simply put, Divine Mercy is God’s love in action—poured out for the world and available to all who turn to Him.
