Scouting

We have Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Venture Crew and Girl Scouts who meet here in our parish. Scouting seeks to increase children’s self-potential, helps them relate to others with respect and understanding, and encourages them to act upon their Christian values by contributing to the community. Our scouts also assist at several of our various parish functions.

Boy Scouts Troop 177 of Trinity, FL 

We are a fun loving troop, who live life to the fullest. We teach strong morals and mold young boys into fine MEN.
Just to give you a taste of what we like to do – We like to go camping, Canoeing, scuba, swimming, service projects for the community, and having fun.
We are proud to be members of the Boy Scouts of America and we have great pride in our nation. We believe in God, and live the Scout law to the best of our abilities, and keep active at all times.
Troop 177 is located in the New Port Richey area. We meet at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church on Tuesdays from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Cub Scouts Great Pack 7

We are the Great Pack 7 and we are located in New Port Richey, Florida. Our chartering organization is St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church. Den meetings are held on Monday nights at 7 PM in the church Parish Center during the school year. Pack meetings are held on the last Monday of the month.

Cub Scouting includes a variety of fun and exciting activities for boys in kindergarten through fifth grades. All boys and their families are welcome to join. Our leaders; like the boys, are imaginative, energetic, and lots of fun! We have many activities available, such as summer camps, the Pinewood Derby, community service, field trips, tours, and sports. We plan our events according to interests of our boys, and we use these activities to fulfill the requirements needed to earn their next rank. Anyone interested in scouting is welcome to contact us and we will be happy to help you and your son enjoy the scouting experience!

Venturing BSA

Girl Scouts

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.  In Girl Scouts, girls discover the fun, friendship, and power of girls together. Through a myriad of enriching experiences, such as extraordinary field trips, sports skill-building clinics, community service projects, cultural exchanges, and environmental stewardships, girls grow courageous and strong.
