We have Cub Scouts, Venture Crew and Girl Scouts who meet here in our parish. Scouting seeks to increase children’s self-potential, helps them relate to others with respect and understanding, and encourages them to act upon their Christian values by contributing to the community. Our scouts also assist at several of our various parish functions.
Please call Mary Miller at (727) 372-8600, ext. 111 for more information.
We are the Great Pack 7 and we are located in New Port Richey, Florida. Our chartering organization is St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church. Den meetings are held on Monday nights at the church Parish Center. Pack meetings are held on the last Monday of the month.
Cub Scouting includes a variety of fun and exciting activities for boys in the first through fifth grades. All boys and their families are welcome to join. Our leaders; like the boys, are imaginative, energetic, and lots of fun! We have many activities available, such as summer camps, the Pinewood Derby, community service, field trips, tours, and sports. We plan our events according to interests of our boys, and we use these activities to fulfill the requirements needed to earn their next rank. Anyone interested in scouting is welcome to contact us and we will be happy to help you and your son enjoy the scouting experience!

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. In Girl Scouts, girls discover the fun, friendship, and power of girls together. Through a myriad of enriching experiences, such as extraordinary field trips, sports skill-building clinics, community service projects, cultural exchanges, and environmental stewardships, girls grow courageous and strong.
Girl Scout Troop 1063 currently meets here at St. Thomas Aquinas on various Thursdays throughout the year. Please contact Mary Miller at (727) 372-8600, ext. 111 in the Parish Office for further information.
